MKThink’s work with the San Francisco Exploratorium and the San Francisco Planning Department for a Living Innovation Zone on Market Street has been featured on One City San Francisco! According to their website, “One City is an initiative bringing together San Francisco’s technology companies and its residents to find common solutions to issues facing our community. Rather than accept a divided city, we can become One City.”
Other projects featured on the site include a collaboration between Lyft and Meals on Wheels, Google working in conjunction with the Community Technology Network, Dropbox and the San Francisco Food Bank, and Twitter and Girls Who Code.
The Living Innovation Zone is designed as an innovative use of emerging technology to revitalize Market Street. MKThink is conducting data collection to examine patterns of daily use to find out how people interact with the installation.
